Toucan Canvas Examples
When selecting a canvas it is important to consider two questions. Firstly which wrap would you like? Secondly, what thickness of frame would you like. Below are clear example of the two choices. Should you have any queries please feel free to contact us and we will be more than happy to help.
Canvas Wrap Types
Museum wrap
This is where the image is not wrapped around the frame and is presented with white sides.

Gallery Wrap
This is where the image folds around the edges. This the most popular way of wrapping a photo canvas.

Canvas Frame Types
Many companies whosupply 'photo to canvas' reduce their costs by mounting your picture onto fixed frames. This is true of major high street retailers such as Tescos' ASDA, Staples and a vast number of online retailers.
It is vital that your canvas is mounted onto stretcher bars as overtime the canvas will 'sag'. This is true of every canvas. However with stretcher bars it is possible to adjust the tension but simply adjusting the wedges thus keeping the canvas' taught. Toucan Images use only fir stretcher bars and supply the wedges to enable the end user to maintain the canvas. Please check to ensure that any other supplier does the same.
