It’s a sad fact that the majority of us who spend time taking photographs end up putting them in albums which are only ever shared periodically. We then tend to forget exactly how amazing some of our own images are until we spare the time to look at the albums again.

Toucan Images believe that if you reviewed your work now, you will almost certainly see an image there that you had forgotten you had taken but you think would look nice on the wall. Canvases are a unique way of displaying your bespoke images on your wall. It may be that you have a colour image that you would like to be converted into Black and White, or sepia.

You may also have an image that you would like to be fresh, but different and yet not detract from the quality of the image itself – why not send that image to us and see what we can do. Fusion Art is very popular and a simple way of enhancing an already exquisite photograph or image.

When selecting a canvas it is important that you know the quality of the workmanship and materials used. Here at Toucan Images we use fir stretcher bars which have a chamfered edge to lift the canvas away from the frame and prevent a “ghosting” effect.

• We use a minimum of 340 gsm high Quality robust canvas
• We ONLY use Lucia inks from Canon which are guaranteed for 75 years.

We believe in quality and attention to detail, we therefore hand stretch each canvas, insert wedges to each corner and on the reverse framing tape is applied to conceal the staples, a dentate hanger is then attached providing that ‘quality ready to hang’ look. The canvas will arrive at your home in a customised box wrapped in bubble wrap ready to hang on the wall so the hardest decision that you have to make is to decide where to hang it!
