Help For Heroes
Help for Heroes are a charity that supports the wounded in Britain’s current conflicts.
Help for Heroes has become, in the words of the Prime Minister, a ‘National Institution’.
Since they started up October 2007 they have raised £1 million a month to help support many wounded servicemen and women injured in the current conflicts.
"It’s about the blokes, our men and women of the Armed Forces. It’s about Derek, a rugby player who has lost both his legs, it’s about Carl whose jaw is wired up so he has been drinking through a straw. It’s about Richard who was handed a mobile phone as he lay on the stretcher so he could say goodbye to his wife. It’s about Ben, it’s about Steven and Andy and Mark, it’s about them all. They are just blokes but they are our blokes; they are our heroes. We want to help our heroes."
Toucan Images is a proud to be a registered affiliate shop.
Since establishing in May 2009, Toucan Images have been liaising with Emma Parry, Jo Parsons and all the team at Help for Heroes to enable us to become an affiliated shop and are privileged to have been accepted. We will soon be appearing on the Help For Heroes website under “affiliate shops” - so keep your eyes peeled for us on there.
We have introduced 3 specific canvas print sizes for sale (using your own image) The sizes are:
- 32” x 24” @ £59.99 £10 from the sale of this product will be donated to H4H*
- 16” x 22” @ £36.99 £7 from the sale of this product will be donated to H4H*
- 8” x 12” @ £19.99 £5 from the sale of this product will be donated to H4H*
All are available through our Help For Heroes page or through the affiliate shops on H4H. For all H4H customers, any required editing, restoring, colour splash, colour modifications, text insertions or image cropping will be carried out FREE OF CHARGE.
We wanted to give something back to our brave soldiers who have been injured in the line of duty. Having close friends who have served in the wars, and others with sons and daughters, nephews and nieces who are currently serving overseas, it is a cause that is close to our hearts and one we are very passionate about raising funding for.
It is not until you have spoken to some of the brave individuals who risk their lives for their country that you truly see a dedication and commitment to which we would all be proud.
- We are currently the only Photo to Canvas company affiliated to this worthy cause that is allowed to sell canvases using the Help For Heroes logo.
- For any other items that you may be seeking we would recommend that you purchase from either the Help For Heroes own site or its affiliated shops, that way you can guarantee your donations are sent to the charity.
* Note if the image that you would like producing onto canvas is not suitable for the above canvas sizes – we will reproduce your image onto a suitable sized canvas and will still donate the nearest donation amount e.g. If your image needs to be printed as a 34”x24” canvas due to the size of the image we receive – we will produce your image onto the 34”x24” canvas and will send the £10 donation to Help For Heroes.
Toucan Images recently had the privilege of meeting active soliders* who kindly volunteered their time whilst on leave to allow themselves to be photographed. Toucan Images are extremely grateful for their time. These men are truely an inspiration and spur Toucan Images to strive to do more. Please support this worthly cause.
